George has his arms full with three top awards from the CMA in 1996...Male Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year (Blue Clear Sky) and Single of the Year (Check Yes or No)...at the podium George remarked after the third one "What a night!"...indeed it was...
George opens the 1989 CMA's singing his hit "Ace in the Hole"...then closes the show in style...by winning his first Entertainer of the Year Award...
George poses backstage at the 1989 ACM's after winning the Male Vocalist of the Year Award....the next day he smiles for the camera and once again shows off his trophy...maybe it never left his right hand all night long...;)

In 1995, ASCAP presented George Strait with its first "Voice of Music Award".  The photos above and to the left are from that night, and also show how George doesn't need to wear a Resistol to look gorgeous...
