The King of Country was named 2018 Texan of the Year by the Texas Legislative Conference and the award was presented on Friday, March 23rd at the New Braunfels Civic Center. George was honored for his fundraising efforts after Hurricane Harvey. Here's a few photos from the event.

George was also honored with another award....the plaque above says he's the "Prince of the City of a Prince, New Braunfels, Texas"...so now he's a King and a Prince!!!
