George looked and smiled at me and I quickly snapped this pic....too bad his black hat is shadowing his eyes....:(

Photo of my friend Jeannie with George at the M&G.....he looked at my camera while she was looking at her husband taking another photo....luckily they got a 2nd shot and both looked in the same direction...LOL

My hub Joe took this one of us at the M&G....later on I sent it to the fan club and it was published in Strait Talk....back then they used to include photos of George and his fans....   George and I talked about a few things but one thing I remember well is telling him how much I loved his newest album, Blue Clear Sky, which had been nominated for CMA Album of the Year Award....I told George to have a "thank you" speech ready because I was sure it was going to win!!  He laughed it off and got a little flustered...LOL...but of course, when the CMAs rolled around that album DID win....and he picked up 2 more awards for Single of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year as well....soooo....I was right in my prediction....;)    That album and it's title song are still my faves to this day!!
